90 (+?) pts. Reduced nose is less expressive today than that of the cabernet, hinting at dark berries, black cherry and bitter chocolate. Broad, sweet and lush on the palate; densely packed but not yet expressive. There's already lovely perfume here but this rather powerful malbec needs time to harmonize its components. Sexy oak and chocolate, along with a saline chewy quality, currently co-exist on the ripely tannic finish.
