91 pts. Bright, full medium ruby. Complex nose melds cassis, tobacco leaf, licorice, herbs and violet. Dense, sweet and pliant, with lovely high-toned tactile fruit offering plenty of immediate sex appeal. Finishes with big but smooth tannins and persistent sweetness. Yet another cabernet sauvignon that caught my attention in an ocean of malbecs this winter.
