92(+?) pts. Saturated bright medium ruby. Decadent aromas of plum, bitter chocolate and minerals. Concentrated, pliant and bright, with an exotic, showy character no doubt due in part to the very old vines. Wonderfully full, creamy wine with superb sweetness but also excellent underlying structure. This big boy builds nicely on the back end and should be even better for a few years of bottle aging. In theory, this should be the top Bramare malbec based on age of vines.
